Lacrosse Throughout My Life

History of my Lacrosse Career

I have been lacrosse for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my older sister play and my dad coached her. Lacrosse has been in my family for almost 10 years before I was born and just continues to grow with me and my twin sister. I started playing on a team for Breakers Youth League when I was 5 years old. I looked up to my two older sisters and wanted to be as good as them. My oldest sister went to Catholic University to play Lacrosse and that was when I knew I wanted to play at a high level too. My dad then started Sachuest Lacrosse Travel Team. This is where I got my first look at a very competitive lacrosse. My freshman year of high school I won the state championship with my older sister and twin sister on my team and my Mom and Dad coaching. With covid hitting junior year of high school committing to a college lacrosse team was very hard. I ended up going to UNH and was on the Division 1 team for a week and really didn't like the team environment so I started playing club. Playing for UNH club was one of the most fun experiences I have had in my life. My freshman year we went to the national tournament in Auston, TX and ended up losing in the semifinal. Then my sophomore year we were on a path to win the national championship. We traveled to Virginia Beach and won the Nation Championship!! After that I ended up transferring to UMaine and took a year off of playing lacrosse. I missed it too much so I joined the club team here and now as a senior I am in my second year playing for the UMaine Club Lacrosse team.
